This is one of the more environmentally aware products on our list and it’s made of paper that is mainly recycled from post-consumer materials. It’s surprisingly tough though and it doesn’t disintegrate when it gets wet unlike some other recycled materials.
They’ve pulled a clever trick with these pellets – they put baking soda in them. This substance is completely harmless to rats but is very good at neutralizing the odor from ammonium laden rat pee. So, when you use this product, you’re guaranteed to keep odors to a minimum.
